My speed is burning..

Hello i need some help.
Ive made a batch speed from oil with bio Ethanol i put down to PH 6,9 and the ive put it straight in to the freezer for 10h. I wanted to test something and took something on a plate. I wanted to dry it faster so i toom a light and it lit up the hole plate haha what was my fault. Should i leave it in fresh wir for a few hours to evaporate the Ethanol more ?

First of all Ethanol is not a good choice because of rather low vapour pressure the drying process will be pretty slow. The usual commercial denaturized Bio Ethanol will also contain about 3-4% of water as well as some denaturizing agents (so as to make the Ethanol not suitable for drinking) and this will usually be 1% methyl ethyl ketone/ 2-butanone and sometimes a really tiny amount of bitrex.

The water is not really an issue but will also delay the drying process at least until completely dry. The MEK can potentially react with the Amphetamine base (imine formation) but since there is also water present it would be hydrolyzed anyway so No problem Here...

The bitrex however will not evaporate and even small amounts left in the final product will alter the taste.

Apart from that the drying process can be sped up by heating to 50 or even 80 degrees celsius without any decomposition of the amphetamine sulphate. If adjusted to a Ph of 6,9 the dry end product should not produce a strong burning Sensation.

Good way to dry it is oven/heatplate. Just use temp meter so you dont over heat it. Ethanol boiling temp is 80C so 60-80C would dry it very fast

bordelloAmphetamine boiling point is 203C and meltint point is 146C so anything under that won't effect it. 60-80C is perfect since etanol boils at 80C. it won't effect The quality of the speed but ethanol will be gone in minutes
